Yesterday at church there was an old guy sitting behind me, and being the teenage female that I am I decided early on that he was slightly creepy. When we left church a good hour later I saw him walking alone. He was heading back to the nursing home all by himself, and it occured to me that eventually I’m going to be just like him. Alone and forgotten for being obsolete. I’m going to be even more lonely with time, so what’s the point of trying not to be now?
